A Sanctuary for Horses and Memories

Cheekye Ranch is also home to Second Chance Cheekye Ranch (SCCR), a charitable organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses in need. This sanctuary for over 100 rescued horses adds a special quality of peace and tranquility to the land, creating a unique atmosphere that fosters connection and joy. 

ELOPE IN OUR FAIRY FOREST

Draped in moss and highlighted by sunshine, our Fairy Forest is a simple and divine backdrop to host your ceremony when eloping or having a few witness’ your special moment. We call them a fairy forest because they look like they have been decorated immaculately with grasses, moss and trees in all the right places.

At Cheekye Ranch, we offer a straightforward wedding package designed to provide everything you need for your special day. With access to our beautiful venue, event spaces, and essential services, our package ensures a stress-free, memorable celebration in a breathtaking setting.

A Rustic Ranch Experience

Embrace the charm of the great outdoors with a rustic ranch wedding. Surrounded by stunning mountain views and lush forests, our venue provides an authentic and serene atmosphere for couples seeking a nature-inspired celebration.

    • 5 riverside yurts & the Cheekye bridle suite

    • 2 night stay (arrival 3pm and departure 11 am)

    • Up to 150 daytime guests on your wedding day (option for more daytime guests)

    • Up to 13 overnight guests included in the package (accommodation for additional 15 guests available if booking the Larger yurts and Cabin)

    • Up to 5 RV's & 50 tents

    • Exclusive use of 3 acres of Cheekye Ranch grounds running along the river, with acess to 2 fire pits, professionally landscaped gardens & mountain views.

    • Garden arbour & 20 wooden pews for the wedding ceremony

    • Washroom and Shower facility (3 toilets and 3 showers)

    • BYOB privileges & BYOC (catering) privileges.
      Access to up to 20 rustic picnic tables

Weddings at cheekye Ranch

  • Yes, Cheekye Ranch allows outside catering and encourages couples to hire the perfect catering company suited for their wedding. The property is fully off grid so all catering must prep food in advance or bring in power and all kitchen needs.

  • Yes, Cheekye Ranch allows outside catering and encourages couples to serve cake/dessert best suited for their wedding.

  • Yes, Cheekye Ranch allows alcohol to be served on site with a liquor licence. The venue require proof of liquor licence 7 days prior to your wedding.

  • You are welcome to arrange a number of carrying bar service options. From full host bar, partial host bar, toonie bar and full cash bar. You must arrange for someone with SIR to pour/serve/bartend your wedding. A bar cart can also be brought to the venue. We are very flexible when it comes to your wedding cocktail hour and reception bar service. You can customize a bar service that suits both your vision and budget.

  • No. We require our couples to hire a professional day-of wedding coordinator to handle all event-related details. We want our couples and guests to enjoy their day to the fullest.

  • Cheekye Ranch welcomes group camping onsite. The private 3-acre venue can host up to 40 tents (or Glamping tents) and 5 R.V’s / Campers.

    • We include complimentary access to

    • 20 rustic wooden benches for your ceremony (seating for approximately 100 guests)

    • 20 rustic wooden picnic tables (seating for approximately 80 guests)

    • One rustic wooden ceremony arbour

    • White wicker signing table & chair

    • Wine barrel podium
      *Any other desired rental items are your responsibility (rental, setup & tear down). The venue is to be returned in the same condition it is found prior to arrival.

  • Cheekye Ranch want to make every event here a special, unique and welcoming. We make every effort to allow couples to prepare decorations reflecting their creative requirements. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items are to be used on any of our building's walls, floors, nearby trees, or other structures etc. No glitter or foil (non-paper) confetti is allowed on site. Any damage will be charged to your account after your event. When there is a fire ban in effect Cheekye Ranch do not permit open fire or flames anywhere on the property, including interior spaces.

  • Yes, the property is private property and with respect to the owner, tenants and equines all visits must be confirmed in advance. If you are booked to have your wedding with us next season we would happily welcome you back and encourage you to plan a secondary visit with any hired vendors. Please reaching out 1-2 weeks in advance to allow us time to best accommodate your next visit!

  • Yes, we offer a full lower grass field for all guest parking. This allows for guest cars to be out of sight from your wedding set-up and photos. All campers and R.V’s must be parked up on the upper venue. The guest parking site is for cars only and no one is permitted to sleep in cars here overnight.

  • Absolutely. The safety of all guests is our top priority. Cars can be arranged to be picked up the following days by 1:00pm.

  • Yes! We are happy to provide you with a list of various transportation options for your guests to get to and from Cheekye Ranch. The property is very dark at night and there is only one main access road. We ask that you plan ahead and provide/share our property map with any arranged transportation companies.

  • Yes, your furry friends are welcome! We are pet friendly and encourage you to share your special day with your best furry friends. We ask that you limit your wedding to 2 dogs. If you would like more than 2 dogs to attend your wedding with us at Cheekye Ranch please email events@cheekyeranch.com to discuss an exception.

  • The property is home to The Finnish Sauna and KIND Yoga. Fishing is welcome with a fishing licence. There are numerous bike trails surrounding the property. For all trail riding, Squamish River Horse Adventure is a 15-minute drive from the property.

  • No, all rental items for your reception dining and catering must be brought in.
